REYNOLDSTOWN. Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta's first public park and oldest cemetery, is an oasis of art, architecture, symbolism, history, gardens and more. Final resting spot for over 70,000 people including Margaret Mitchell, Bobby Jones, over 6,000 Confederate Soldiers and many of Atlanta's founding families. Guided tours are offered March-November, Saturday at 10am and 2pm, and Sunday at 2pm, with Twilight Tours June-August on Saturday at 7pm.
